To wrap up our team re-introductions, we’re spotlighting Catherine. Here’s a quick blurb:
"Catherine is a licensed clinical psychologist who has dedicated her career to supporting first responders, combat veterans, and others impacted by high-intensity, life-altering events. Coming from a first-responder family—including fire, emergency medical services, and law enforcement—she brings a deep, personal understanding of the unique cultures and stressors within each profession. Her work integrates a range of evidence-based interventions, including psychoeducation, coping skills, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—all aimed at helping clients process trauma, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths."

As we continue reintroducing members of our team, we’d like to introduce Greg, our Blended First Responder Clinician. Below is a brief bio he shared with us.
"I work exclusively with First Responders and their and families, offering a space where their unique experiences are understood and respected. I use my own background in public safety to connect on a deeper level, providing care that is both relevant and effective. Greg also draws on his personal challenges to help normalize therapy—showing that the process can be a safe, supportive step toward feeling better, not something to fear. I am also trained in EMDR.

We’ve had lots of new followers join us lately, so we’re reintroducing the amazing team at Halfwild Counseling! Meet Bri (LCSW)—here’s a short bio about her:
I bring over 10 years of clinical experience, ranging from crisis stabilization and case management to equine-assisted therapy. For nearly six years, I have worked with first responders and their families through a strongly trauma-informed lens. My treatment approach is eclectic, relational, and authentic, with an emphasis on creating a laid-back, supportive therapeutic environment. I frequently incorporate walk-and-talk sessions and am trained in EMDR."

We’ve gained a lot of new followers lately, so it felt like the right time to reintroduce the team! Over the next few weeks, you’ll get to meet everyone—starting with Mary Margaret Signorelli, owner of Halfwild Counseling. Here is a brief bio:
"Do you run off caffeine and dark humor and your calendar is based on shift schedules- not days of the week? Mary Margaret is a trauma-focused Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes and has dedicated her practice to working with First Responders and their immediate family members. Mary Margaret is innately aware of the nuances of what it means to be a first responder, not only from her clinical specialization but she is a first responder spouse. Previously, Mary Margaret has worked with survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence, as well as survivors of Human Trafficking. She received her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Equine Assisted Mental Health from Prescott College. "

Please welcome our newest team member, Catherine! Catherine is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in care for first responders, combat veterans, and others affected by high-intensity, life-changing events. Coming from a first-responder family, she offers a deep understanding of the unique cultures and stressors within these professions.

Drawing on experience at the Washington, DC and Richmond VA Medical Centers, Catherine provides trauma-informed, client-centered care grounded in neuroscience and evidence-based practices such as EMDR and IFS. She is especially skilled at working with those hesitant about therapy, creating a compassionate space to process trauma, build resilience, and restore balance.
