If you sit all day, your body feels it.

Tight hips.
An angry back every time you try to lift.
Starting back at the gym but something always flares up.

You are not broken. You just need the right bridge between rehab and real strength.

Forge Rebuild helps desk workers move from stiff and cautious to strong and capable.

If workouts keep setting off pain, it is time for a smarter approach.

You finished physical therapy.
Your doctor cleared you.

But something still does not feel right.

Your body feels different. Certain movements make you hesitate. The gym that once felt normal now feels intimidating, and every small flare up makes you question whether you should even be there.

You are not weak. You are not broken. You are simply in the gap between recovery and real strength again.

That is exactly why Forge Rebuild exists.

Forge Rebuild is a structured return to strength program designed for adults who are medically cleared but not yet confident in their movement. Instead of random workouts or pushing through pain, this program focuses on rebuilding stability, correcting weak patterns, and restoring trust in your body step by step.

Every progression has a purpose. Every phase is intentional.

You do not have to guess your way back.

You just need the right bridge between recovery and real strength.

If you feel cleared but not confident, Forge Rebuild was built for you.

Hi, I’m Danae Reed Howell 👋
Lead Stretch Specialist at Forge Bodyworks and Movement Lab.

I have a background in kinesiology and physical therapy, and I also work as a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Dothan. Before emergency services, I spent several years in outpatient physical therapy focusing on post-surgical rehab, sports performance, and myofascial release.

As a former Division II softball athlete, I understand the importance of mobility, injury prevention, and getting back to doing what you love. My goal is to help people move better, feel stronger, and live more fully—whether that’s through recovery, performance, or everyday movement.

Movement is medicine, and I’m here to help you make it part of your life.

📣 Meet our awesome Stretch Specialist Mary Grace!!

Mary Grace brings a lifelong passion for movement and performance to the Forge Stretch team. She began dancing at just three years old and continued for over a decade before finding another love in cheerleading — a sport she excelled in from age seven all the way through twenty-two.

A graduate of Geneva, Mary Grace went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (Pre-Physical Therapy) from Huntingdon College, where she also cheered competitively all four years. Her athletic background and deep understanding of body mechanics give her a unique perspective on flexibility, strength, and injury prevention.

Currently, Mary Grace is completing her studies to become a physical therapist assistant with less than two semesters left before graduation! She combines her hands-on training and sports experience to help every client move better, feel better, and perform at their best.

🤓 Fine-Tuning Recovery After Surgery

⭐️ One of my favorite parts of this job is helping clients bridge the gap after physical therapy. When formal rehab is done, there are often still lingering issues — like swelling, stiffness, or nerve discomfort.

⭐️ This client is nine weeks post–total knee replacement. He’s moving great, has excellent range of motion, and a normal amount of swelling. What remains is nerve-related pain. Kinesiotaping is one of the tools I can use to support lymphatic drainage and calm irritated nerves. When applied in a lymphatic pattern, the tape gently lifts the skin to create more space in the tissues underneath. This promotes better fluid movement, and reduces pressure on sensitive nerves — which can ease nerve pain. So you can get more restful sleep — which is the REAL superstar of recovering and healing optimally.

👋🏼 Meet Danae Reed Howell, Lead Stretch Specialist at Forge Bodyworks and Movement Lab!

Hi! I’m Danae Reed—a licensed paramedic, firefighter, LPTA and movement enthusiast with a background in kinesiology. I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel and move better, and that passion has guided my career.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and an Associate of Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I’m also a licensed paramedic, currently serving as a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Dothan. Before stepping into emergency services, I spent five years working in outpatient physical therapy, where I specialized in post-surgical and sport rehabilitation, exercise science, and myofascial release.

Before my professional career, I played Division II softball as a four-year starter. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for athletic performance, injury prevention, and the journey back to sport after setbacks.

My goal is simple: to help people move better, feel stronger, and live more fully. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or just looking to improve your mobility and overall health, I’m here to help bridge the gap between physical therapy and everyday life—or a return to sport. I truly believe that movement is medicine and that mobility work has a place in everyone’s routine.

Outside of work, you can usually find me lifting, cycling, running, swimming, or getting lost in a good book. I’m also lucky to share life with my husband, Jeb and our two dogs.

Let’s work together to help you reach your goals and get back to doing what you love.
