🎷 Calling All Local Musicians! 🎶

Grand South Senior Living is hosting a Mardi Gras celebration on Tuesday, 2/17 from 4:30–6:00 PM, and we would love to feature a live performer to help set the festive tone. Our residents truly enjoy and appreciate live music.

If you specialize in jazz, blues, swing, or New Orleans–inspired music — or know someone who does — we’d love to connect.

We’ve been busy feeling the love and beating the winter chill! From hand-crafting heartfelt Valentines to staying toasty with some invigorating exercise, our residents are glowing.
The highlight? Getting creative in the kitchen with Chef Cam, who helped us decorate some absolutely stunning (and delicious) Valentine cookies.

From staying active and creative to sharing love through Hearts Across America and welcoming new friendships—our residents are thriving every day. And behind the scenes, our team continues to grow through CPR/First Aid training and learning from world-renowned dementia expert Teepa Snow, because at Grand South we believe you can never stop learning how to better care for those who call us home.

This Valentine’s Day, our residents at Grand South Senior Living are participating in a special card exchange with communities across the country. Our goal is to receive Valentine’s cards from all 50 states to share with our residents.

Our residents are making every second of this warm week count! From breezy outdoor outings to getting creative with colorful crafts, we’re staying active and soaking up the sun while it lasts. 🎨🚶‍♂️ Thank you to our volunteers Mona and Dennis for bringing smiles through music and to The Wiregrass Museum of Art for the hospitality you showed us when we visited.
