Today we enjoyed the day hiding and gathering eggs throughout the office filled with candy. Several of our very lucky employees took home 1 of 8 gift card giveaways throughout the day. Such a wonderful way to start our Easter weekend. Have a very Happy Easter.

Our patient portal,My Health Record, is currently having issues where Users attempting to login are redirected to the login screen after entering their username and password preventing successful log in. Their team is actively working on restoring normal log in functionality as quickly as possible. If you need to reach your provider during this time please call the office at 334-305-0400. Thank you for your patience as they get this fixed.

Congratulations to Tarrell Buxton for winning the Employee of the Month for March. Tarrell has worked with Pulmonary Associates for 14 years. He started out as a CMA helping prepare patients to be seen by the provider which included working them up, performing spiometries and walk and rest procedures on the patients. He became a CMA supervisor during this time. In his position as a supervisor he continues to do those things as well as lead the CMA's under him to strive to work efficiently and effectively. He works clinics when needed. His expertise and knowledge in his field has been a great asset to the company as well as to our patients. While not at work, he loves to buy and sell antiques/collectibles. He raises peafowl and enjoys working in his yard and shop. We are glad to have him apart of our team.

Monday, March 16th will start with some pretty inclement weather. Please be weather aware and stay safe. Our clinic hours will not change but we do ask that everyone please be patient with us as we work with limited staff in the morning due to the weather and school delays.

Congratulations to Heather Jones for winning the Employee of the Month for February. Heather works as a CMA running a busy Nurse Practitioners clinic. She is very dependable. She is always at work on time, and ready to take care of her patients. Heather enjoys traveling,shopping, and spending time with family. We are glad to have her on our team.

Congratulations to our physicians for reaching the BIG 50 ION bronchs. This new technology as already made such an impact on our patients lives. We are so grateful to Dr. Walt Doty and Dr. Marvin Sexton whom spend countless hours mapping these cases out and their Fridays off performing these procedures. They are truly making a difference in the Wiregrass.
