Today marked the official groundbreaking for the Southeast Health Emergency Department expansion and new Patient Care Tower! This expansion is crucial for our growing community, ensuring Southeast Health can continue to provide world-class care when our neighbors need it most.

The Southeast Health Foundation Board of Trustees is honored to share that community champion and former Dothan Mayor, Mike Schmitz, will be leading the $10 million capital campaign as its chair! Mike, known for his deep commitment to Dothan, perfectly encapsulated the spirit of this project, stating that it is "for the community, supported by the community." This is more than just a building; it's about investing in the future well-being and safety of everyone in the Wiregrass.

Stay tuned for more updates on how you can be a part of this vital campaign!

Because of powerful partnerships like this, we can continue to provide essential support for local cancer programs and services. We are especially grateful for Barberitos long-standing support, which has now raised over $38,000 to bring help and hope to our community. Thank you for being a true Champion of Hope!
