Join us in celebrating the birthday of one of our esteemed oral surgeons, Dr. Antwan Treadway! 🎉🎂
Dr. Antwan L. Treadway, hailing from St. Petersburg, FL, embarked on his academic journey at the University of Florida in 1984, where his passion for biological sciences flourished. He earned accolades as a student leader and graduated with a degree in microbiology and cellular genetics before pursuing dentistry. After completing his D.M.D. at UF, he delved into Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery through residencies at renowned institutions like Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York City and Martin Luther King/Charles R. Drew University’s Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Treadway's remarkable career includes groundbreaking achievements such as being the first African American full-time faculty member in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia and serving as president of the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He remains a dedicated advocate for patients, students, and the profession through his active involvement in various dental associations.
Today, Dr. Treadway practices out of our Douglasville office, where he provides exceptional care to his patients with a focus on dental implants and reconstructive dentistry.
