About Emily RN, BSN: Owner and Founder of Mending Hands; Ordained Minister, Reiki/Healing Touch Therapy Provider, plus Teacher of all Usui Reiki Level's; One through Three (Advanced/Master Level). I also offer distance Reiki sessions for adults, pets, and children. Mending Hands carries Essential Oils, CBD Products, personalized Essential Oil Blends, Pain Relief Products, and other items for clients to continue their healing journey at home.
From the age of five years old, after dealing with my own severe health struggles, I yearned to help people through the power of medicine. I decided to accomplish this through the healing touch of Nursing. I pursued this goal by completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University. Mending Hands began in 2016 from my home in Douglasville, GA and then moved into an office space with a chiropractor in October of 2018. Mending Hands just moved (March 2020) into our very own space and have added practitioners, teachers, and offerings. There is no limit to what we can achieve and who we can help while pursuing our lifelong passion of helping others align themselves with their highest good.

Please arrive a few minutes prior to your session(s) (excluding distance/zoom sessions), your Class(es) and other in-office Workshops (Reiki Shares, etc.). Let's respect one another and the space we're in regarding phone usage and loud talking. If there is noise in the background during a Zoom call you will be muted.
COVID-19 Precautions: When you arrive to your appointment/session/class/workshop-please wait in our wait area, your temperature will be taken (anything greater than or equal to 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will be rescheduled). However, they will be credited for the next appropriate/available date or they may use the credit toward any other service, product, workshop, or class in the future.
All clients will then be asked to wash their hands with soap and water before we begin.
The facility is deep cleaned habitually with bleach, 70% alcohol liquid spray, and clorox wipes. All surfaces in the room are sanitized between each service, class, and all workshops.
If you feel sick in any way OR have been possibly exposed to COVID in the last 14 days. Please do not come, even if it's last minute! We will reschedule you for the next appropriate class/workshop/session date!

It has been explained to all client(s) involved that Healing Touch Therapy, Reiki Therapy, Chakra Balancing/Clearing with possible use of Essential Oils, CBD (Cannabidiol) products, &/or Crystals are all complementary therapies not intended to replace any prescribed medical treatments as ordered by any medical providers. This also applies to any classes or workshops taught by Mending Hands.
Client(s) have been informed that my Practitioner(s) will neither diagnose any medical condition nor prescribe for any condition that client(s) may have nor do they make any specific claims regarding results from the session(s) or product(s) or class(es) or workshop(s)received. All client(s) are encouraged to consult a licensed medical practitioner for any physical &/or mental complaints present.
Some of the indications for an Energy Session/Class/Workshop may include but are not limited to:
Because Energy Therapies, Reiki, Healing Touch, and Certain Products are contraindicated under certain conditions, all involved and answering questions have stated all known medical conditions and answered all the practitioner(s) questions honestly. It is agreed to keep the practitioner(s) updated as to any changes in medical profile(s) and understand there shall be no liability on the practitioner(s) part should all involved forget to do so.
Client(s) have been informed that all client information and records are treated in a confidential manner. The experiences during these class(es) and workshop(s) are a confidential subject to the usual exceptions governed by State or Federal laws and regulations.
Except in the case of gross negligence or malpractice, client(s) agree to fully release and hold harmless the Practitioner(s) &/or Instructor(s) from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with client(s) session(s), class(es) and workshop(s). All questions have been answered to satisfaction regarding the session(s), class(es) and workshop(s), as well as the practitioner(s)/ instructor(s) background, the services selected, and any expectations from these services.

I will follow all of the instructions of the Business while on the Premises, including: business guidelines and requirements. I agree not to enter the Premises if I am experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as COVID symptoms, have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, or have come in contact in the last number of days since contact days with a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19.
Customer assumes the risk I am aware of the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and the risk that I may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 by being on the Premises and engaging in the Activity.
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily entering the Premises to engage in the Activity with knowledge of the danger involved. I hereby agree to accept and assume all risks of personal injury, illness, disability, or death related to COVID-19, arising from my being on the Premises or engaging in the Activity, whether caused by negligence of the Business or otherwise.
Customer releases seller from liability I hereby expressly waive and release any and all claims, now known or hereafter known, against the Business, or parties waived of liability on account of injury, illness, disability, or death arising out of or attributable to my being on the Premises or engaging in the Activity and being exposed to or contracting COVID-19, whether arising out of the negligence of the Business, parties waived of liability, or otherwise.
