TESTIMONIES FROM THIS WEEK

Let’s give God the glory for these testimonies:

🎉 Sciatic pain gone: a woman came to worship under the tent on Tuesday and was limping as she walked up to the tent. We asked her what was wrong and how we could pray. Her pain level was 8 out of 10 from sciatica. We prayed for her and by the time she left, her pain was GONE!! From a level 8 to a 0!

🎉 Leg pain gone: Another woman came to PV to do some of our services and pray in our sanctuary. She had pain and inflammation in her leg and we talked about some possible suplements that could help. After spending time in our sanctuary praying by herself, the Holy Spirit touched her body and she left with no pain!!!

🎉 God provided for our event: We needed a sound system and a microphone for our event today and God provided a free system for us to use from a local church!

🎉 Eye Pain Gone: a man who is a part of our ministry came to visit from out of town and his wife came with him. She has struggled with pain in her eyes for years and has traveled the world visiting many doctors, hoping for relief, but nothing was working. When her husband was in our sanctuary praying with us, we felt led to pray for her even though she was not there with us. When he went back to the hotel, she shared with him that there was no pain in her eyes!!

Thank You, Jesus that You are still healing people today!! We give You all the glory!

While in prayer about the hurricane and the previous one, God led me to pray the word “thwarted”. That the enemies plans would be thwarted.

THWART means:
👉 to oppose successfully : defeat the hopes or aspirations of.
👉 to run counter to so as to effectively oppose or baffle.

The Word is the sword of the Spirit and is our weapon against the enemy. ⚔️

Pray that this evil hurricane will be thwarted!

Thanks to your generous contributions to our ministry, we were able to give away several bundles this week!

➡️ A man came up to our tent worship service to get prayer for his kidneys. He told us that after getting Covid and then the Covid v@ccine, his kidneys no longer worked right. He’s only 41 years old, and has to do dialysis regularly! 😭

Our team got to pray for him for healing and we gave him a healing bundle to take home. We are looking forward to his healing testimony when he comes back! His name is Chad if you feel led to pray for him.

➡️ Another person came to the tent and talked to us about a specific situation. She needed some encouragement to step out of her comfort zone and pray for people for deliverance.

We got to love on her, encourage her, and give her our Victorious Bundle to take home with her that night. She left feeling peaceful and empowered! 🙌

➡️ A family in Canada reached out to us this week. They had gotten a bundle for their autistic son last year and wanted to send a bandana to a family nearby who has an autistic child too! Miracles in the making!

This is why we do what we do! God is changing lives!

This is an affirmation that I wrote on a piece of paper over 10 years ago and it still hanging in my bathroom today.

The paper and tape is deteriorating but the words written on it have finally come true. That is why it is special to me.

I wrote those words when I was not doing well and put it in a place where I see it everyday because I did not believe it.

Since I was a child, I have always felt like something was wrong with me. I never felt like my body worked like everyone else. As an observer, I have watched how other people responded to sickness and pain. They could function in spite of it most of the time. I could not.

Anytime I got sick, I felt so horrible that I lashed out at the people trying to take care of me. I was unpleasant to be around. I was mad that I felt this way and could not function.

It did not seem fair. Something was always wrong with me.

When I was a child and young adult, I experienced a variety of debilitating health problems from things that did not affect other people so severely.

My arm would swell up and itch for weeks from an ordinary insect bite.

Sunburn would make me go crazy with unbelievable itching and pain that kept me from being able to sleep.

My menstrual cycle caused debilitating cramps to where I could not function.

I would throw up after eating a good meal so many times I lost count. It was not food poisoning! My body just rejected food with no rhyme or reason.

If I exercised for more than 5 minutes, I felt terrible, like I had to go lie down and take a nap. I did not get an endorphin high like everyone else. I could not even tell you what that feels like. I would get the opposite of that.

I felt like there is something legitimately wrong with me. But I had no idea what it was.

Doctors did not give me any solid answers. I felt like I needed proof of a problem or else I must be crazy, because no one understands me. So I kept searching for that label or diagnosis that would give me some peace of mind that I was not crazy after all.

But I never got it.

I was stuck in a chronic disease cycle, fearing the next wave of sickness, which by now I know is inevitable.

The irony that made it even more confusing for me was that my faith in God was strong or so I thought.

I knew God and had a personal relationship with Him. I really wanted to experience His healing power and live a life that brought glory to Him, but it felt so far out of reach.

And if I was honest with myself, at this point in my life, it felt like it was too good to be true.

I believed that my body was broken. I believed that my body was defective and what I experienced in life was evidence of that.

This belief became the lens that I looked through. This belief was true….or so I thought. It was certainly my reality at the time.

But the problem with this belief is that it does not line up with what God’s Word says.

What if God had healing for me to experience but because of this belief, it was the very thing keeping me from it?

Everytime I got over one health problem, it would be short lived. A few months later, something else would go wrong and I kept catching one disease after another.

Each symptom and sickness only solidified my belief that indeed there must be something wrong with my body.

Everyone else can receive healing, but its just not attainable for me.

So not only did I believe something was wrong with my body, I also began to believe that God healed other people, but He would not heal me. His Word applied to other people but not to me.

I did not realize these thoughts had become subconscious core beliefs that I had developed over the years because of my health challenges.

The way my body felt and reacted had formed my belief system rather than the truth of God’s Word. I was letting life speak louder than truth. I was letting my physical feelings and experiences speak louder than God’s Word.

These beliefs were anchoring me firmly into the enemy’s camp and was a tool that he was using to keep me in bo***ge. Why? Anything someone believes that is contrary to God’s Word is a lie from the enemy that will keep them in bo***ge.

Here is how it worked: I would have a symptom and immediately I had a negative or fear based thought because of it. “Oh no, what’s wrong with me now?” I would go into fear and imagine worst case scenerios.

This way of thinking creates a self fulfilling prophecy of chronic sickness. I was feeding a disease mindset by my conscious and subconsious habitual thought patterns.

I was not just sick in my body; I was sick in my mind.

My mind was dominated by negativity and fearful thoughts that was holding my body in bo***ge more than I would have liked to admit.

Fear and sickness had become such a part of me that I could not see it clearly how much bo***ge I was in.

Infirmity had woven its black tenticals into every aspect of my life so effectively that it was hard to even detect because it was so normal to me. My mind had become the devils playground without me even being aware of it.

Through God’s help, I began to see that the cycle of chronic sickness in my life needed to be broken and the key to breaking it was not another supplement or diet plan. It was a complete renewal of my mind to the truth of God’s word and a healthy way of thinking about my body.

I needed to break free from a fear based, victim mindset that was continuing to feed the disease cycle.

God showed me how He could heal my body when I uprooted those lies I was believing that my body is defective or broken.

I could say affirmations all day long, but if there were lies I was still believing, I would still stay stuck.

This is why coaching and prayer rooms are such a vital part of the healing process at Pure Vitality.

Coaching and prayer helps to uncover lies that could be holding you back.

Now, I can say that I believe what is written on this paper: I AM healthy. And now I experience health in my body on a consistent basis.

Now I believe the TRUTH of God’s Word and speak it over my body when I feel a symptom come up rather than go into fear and reach for a remedy. I let Him lead me instead of fear.

This is the deeper work that is sometimes necessary to do to recover from chronic disease.

Sometimes you don’t need a new supplement or natural remedy; you need a new mindset that supports health instead of disease.

Sometimes you need the TRUTH to set you free. 🙌🙌🙌

Pure Vitality is seeking a self-motivated, Jesus follower who is a detail-oriented administrative assistant to work at our front desk.

The position is part-time, and in-person at our office in Douglasville, Georgia. Hours are Mornings 9am-2pm 3/4 days a week and at least one Saturday per month.
