Phones are still unreliable and I am moving forward with that as a permanent reality given that I live in a dead zone.

Getting close to turning the lights on over here at the studio.

Phones have been broken for months due to poor service in my area.

Today I'm working on starting an online booking system. Checking all the opening protocol boxes, and starting to revise my website and prices.

This is a comprehensive article about what is going on in our massage industry today.

Drumlin Massage will open again, likely after summer. There is now a clotting factor being researched with Covid 19 and as blood clots are an absolute contradiction with massage I have decided to wait for the research to clarify.

We have no real leadership in this. It's going to be a hard couple of months.

The good news: when we reopen things will look a bit different. There will be a brand new floor in the office.

Massage at this office will be temporarily postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Drumlin Massage always follows universal protocols for sanitation to protect the health of clients. A hospital grade sanitizer is used on the table between sessions and sheets are always cleaned and changed.

Massage has been listed an essential bussiness by the state. Massage is essential. It helps people with chronic pain, helps to rehabilitate after injuries, and relaxation increases overall wellness.

This is all happening very fast, new information comes to light every day. It's hard to make the right decision in a time when not all the facts are in... I want to err on the side of caution for the sake of my clients health.

Mandates are changing every day at this point, rather than closing at a moment's notice, I am closing for a few weeks.

As of right now the professional association that carrys our insurance is recommending we close. As a therapist I cannot stay 6 feet away and with community spread at this time in Waukesha county I believe it is still prudent to remain closed.

As of right now, I will be following the school districts closures. When schools open, I will open.

To comply with the state mandate I must close the doors of my bussiness.

I've been unofficially closed since last Thursday but it is time to make an announcement.

For six years I've owned Drumlin Massage Therapy and today I begin calling clients to cancel appointments. Even though I follow universal protocol for sanitation to prevent the spread of communicable diseases I must show solidarity with my professional associations recommendation and state mandate.

As of right now I am closed for the next 15 days. I will determine if I'm required to close longer after that point. Any questions please call the office.

I am looking for side work. I hope this blows over quickly so I can open again and continue to do what I love.
