Ever wonder EXACTLY what labs you should be getting for hormone concerns & why? Here’s a quick breakdown of what we test for

CBC / CMP - the basics

Thyroid panel - complete - TSH, free and total T3 & T4 & sometimes Thyroid antibodies - this is your thermostat. No broken thermostats here please!!

Lipid panel (and other cardiac markers) - cholesterol is where hormones originate, but we don’t want it too high and we want it in the right balance!

cortisol/A1C / Insulin - diabetes and insulin resistance screening. Also, the base of the hormone hierarchy. These need to be functional for the rest to be functional!

Vitamin D / Vitamin B12 / folate / Iron - testing for functional levels for our hormones to be functioning well!

⁠Hormones!!! Estradiol, Estriol, Estrone, Progesterone, FSH, LH, Testosterone free and total, SHBG - what is going on in the world of your hormones? Too low, too high, imbalanced? Something binding them up?

Inflammation markers- joint aches and pains? Autoimmune diseases? We will track and trend this.
