We recently hosted breakfast for all that assisted with transporting our employees to and from work during our recent ice storm.

We had some staff who utilized the free rooms that were set up to prevent them from
being out on the roads but others were transported by the support of our local partners and for that we want to say thank you to each and every one of you once again!

Here is what’s happening in our Activities Department this
week…We had a special visitor who came to our center this week to visit and play music for our residents.

His name is Jordan Huggins. Jordan is four years old. He attends the Mid-Cumberland Head Start, located in Big Rock TN.

Jordan came to play a special song and visit with Mr. Brad Wallace who he had recently encountered and heard Brad playing his own harmonica while visiting one day.

Jordan wanted his own harmonica for himself and his mom Nicole Huggins bought one and now he comes to play for our residents as time allows.

Thank you Jordan and Nicole for taking time to come and visit with our residents.

The residents at the Dover Care Center celebrated Valentine’s Day today!

Residents enjoyed a great meal consisting of Baked Ham, Sweet Potato Casserole, Dressing, Roll, Cranberry Sauce &
Strawberry Shortcake.

After lunch, there was lots of refreshments served. Our music was provided by our wonderful City Mayor, Mrs. Lesa Fitzugh. We want to thank Mrs. Lesa for taking time out of her busy schedule to come sing for us and crown our 2026 Valentines Day Queen, voted for by the residents and staff at the Dover Care Center.

On behalf of the residents and as the Activities Director at the Dover Care Center, I want to thank Angels on Duty and the entire community who assisted with this large donation for our residents and our Activities Department.

Michelle Odom and Kelly Gray were both instrumental in gathering these items and we want to say thank you to both of them as well.

I am most grateful for all of my continued community supporters and the love that each and every one of you continue to show our residents and myself, as the Activities Director. ❤️
