Having boundaries can be difficult as others that are crossing your boundaries can be upset with you due to the fact that you are no longer giving into something that you are no longer willing to tolerate. Boundaries are a way of saying I will not tolerate being treated like this any longer. You are always allowed to stand up for yourself.
