Its been a great run and I want to thank each of you who supported the gym the last 5 years!
For the friendships I have made, for the victories I have seen and the improvements in your health!

The Park opened in the midst of COVID and lasted this long!
Ill cherish this endeavor, Im sad that I am closing the doors for good but its what is best for me!

Once I get the equipment out to my house, I may start some personal training back up in my she shed!

Yes, some equipment will be for sale but I don’t know what yet, when I do know… it will be available on FB marketplace…
If there is something in the gym you are interested in please let me know so I can contact you.

The power rack, leg press, extension, treadmill and chest press are coming to the shed… of course weights too but probably not all of them!

Thanks again to all of you who made The Park your home gym for the past 5 years! I believe I have stopped auto drafts on everyone but if you happen to have a payment come out in October please let me know!

Dear Friends and Members,

I am making the difficult decision to close the Park Fitness Center at the end of the month. That being said, September 30, 2025 will be the last day to use the gym, if you have any personal items inside please remove them before then or make arrangements to get them afterward.

Unfortunately, my lack of involvement in the gym has caused several members to not pay their payments, cards are getting declined right and left and I do not have the time to chase people. I have also seen on camera many people who are not even members coming in.

This month I did not even have enough people pay their dues to pay the electric bill. While I did not open this gym to make money, when I cant even pay the electric bill its time to move on. I can make more money renting the space to someone else.

While I know it’s not everyone, I feel like my lack of involvement has caused many people to take advantage of me not being there and just not bothered to make sure they are making their payment.
On the other hand I have a couple ladies who know my situation with everything and have been so kind as to clean up for me and make sure the garbage is taken out etc so Im so very thankful for that!

As I close this chapter in my life Im so thankful to those who have been involved since the very beginning! Ive made life long friendships in this place.
Until I get my equipment out, there are a few of you who will be welcome to continue to use it.

The good news for those who were making sure to pay each month and appreciated that we had a gym here in Dover, I understand someone else is working on one that will be bigger and better. Though, rest assured that has nothing to do with my decision to close the doors.

Idk who keeps unplugging my cameras but it needs to stop! If I find out who it is you will be asked not to come back! Theres absolutely no reason to unplug them unless you’re doing something you’re not supposed to
So cut it out!

How does this happen? Not only that when it happened, why didn’t someone say “hey oops sorry”
Listen things happen in a gym, I get it but the respectable thing to do is let me know…
Im still looking at this picture wondering how this kettlebell was being used for it to sustain this damage…. It looks punctured

Its becoming obvious I need to add more cameras….while this particular KB is not a crazy expensive piece it still costs money to replace it.
