On 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖 from 𝟖:𝟑𝟎 𝐀𝐌 – 𝟐 𝐏𝐌, Dover Probation & Parole (511 Maple Pkwy) will be hosting a Mobile Hygiene Event in partnership with the 1in7B_Foundation .

This event is open to individuals under community supervision and anyone in the community in need of extra support. Services include:
✅ Clean showers
✅ Laundry services
✅ Health screenings courtesy of
✅ And more

Together, we’re working to provide dignity, care, and resources for our community.

September is Recovery Month & we are kicking off a series of new events & activities surrounding the journey of recovery, healing & moving through life after significant trauma.

As we open our recovery series & shed light on the importance of awareness, support & inclusion—another piece of each of us will heal.

My story may not look like yours & there is still room for both of us. Let’s come together to create a comfortable space where we can celebrate milestones, create bonds, share resources, & nurture those who are in need.

Doug Moore , a longtime Starboard employee, makes the Strawberry Lime ReFresher mocktail at the landmark Dewey Beach restaurant. Moore, who has been sober since 2019, is now an active volunteer with Attack Addiction , which will hold Sussex Sober Fest at Hudson Fields this Saturday, Sept. 13.
