I am grateful to share that I have officially stepped into and secured my role as Spiritual Care Specialist and Staff Chaplain at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, having now successfully completed my 90-day probationary period.
After being laid off from my previous position, I experienced eight months of intentional growth, reflection, and refocusing. That season allowed me to lean deeply into my faith, sharpen my sense of purpose, and prepare for the next chapter of my calling. Today, I am grateful to return fully to what has always been at the heart of my ministry—providing pastoral and spiritual care within the hospital setting.
This journey has deepened my compassion and strengthened my commitment to walking alongside patients, families, and healthcare staff during moments of vulnerability, hope, and healing.
I am sincerely thankful to the Pastoral Care Team at Bayhealth for the opportunity, the trust, and their commitment to whole-person care that makes this work possible. It is truly an honor to serve alongside such a dedicated healthcare community.
I am also grateful for my family, my community, and the many experiences that helped shape this journey. I’m honored to serve at Bayhealth Sussex in this meaningful work and look forward to offering presence, prayer, listening, and support as part of the care team. Grateful for what’s ahead.
