Sometimes you have to break out of the norm and pull out Thomas the Train sheets! Today I have the honor of working with an 8 year old boy! You are never to little to get a massage.

What a beautiful day to be outside. Today was a busy day in the landscaping. More rock is being removed to get ready to relay fresh rock and Peterson Concrete Construction came out and poured this beautiful ramp. They do great work and I recommend them to anyone who needs concrete work done.

This picture makes me giggle every time! Honestly, the most common thing people say when getting on the table is “I shaved my legs for you!” Or “Oh, sorry I didn’t shave my legs today. I hope you don’t mind?”

You know what, I don’t see hair or notice that you shaved or not. The only thing I notice is if your calves or hamstrings are tight, if the is a knot here or there, where there is inflammation or puffiness. Having hair on your legs in a natural thing and you should not have to apologize for it being there.

Our Story

Rural Touch Massage is based in my home, which is located outside of Dover city limits just off from highway 14.

I have been working as a massage therapist out of my home since May of 2016 when I received my license from the city of Rochester than graduated from Minnesota School of Business in December of 2016 with a certificate in massage therapy.

Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of the body’s soft tissues to enhance a person's health and well-being. Massage therapy is beneficial for people of all ages. I have worked on young children as well as aging adults. Massage therapy has many benefits including strengthening your immune system, aid in healing injured tissues, relax, reduce stress and anxiety, increase energy, help with sleeplessness and irritability, allow an overall sense of well-being, and more.

Each year I strive to take more continuing education. I have specialized in several different massage modalities or styles. Due to the uniqueness of each individual client, a variation or a combination of different massage modalities may be used create the most beneficial massage experience possible.

I offer 2 main services - relaxation and therapeutic.

Relaxation is your typical soft touch, melt into the table, and fall asleep type of massage.

Therapeutic is more of a condition specific type of a massage. This does not mean deep or painful. Therapeutic means you are coming in with a specific goal in mind such as taking care of those sore muscles, headaches, stubborn spots, getting rid of that pesky cellulite, smoothing out the winkles on your face or perhaps increasing flexibility and range of motion.

Saturday 9:00am – 4:00pm

If you do not see a time online that fits in your schedule please feel free to contact me to find a time that better suits your needs.

Your First Visit: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. At your first visit there will be an intake form to read though and sign. Also, it is very important to drink plenty of water on the day of you appointment and a few days following your appointment. Payment: Full payment is due at the time of service. Rural Touch Massage accepts cash, check, or credit card. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you cancel within the 24 hour period you will be charged 50% of the appointment cost. If you miss your appointment you will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.
