🌟 Meet Ashley Sisto: our catch-all, wearer-of-all-hats, amazing Administrative Assistant 🌟

Sisto has been working behind the scenes since the beginning of 2024, assisting with managing and connecting new inquiries with the right therapist either at our office or referring to a more appropriate fit outside of our own space, contacting pesky insurance companies, finding resources for clients and therapists, making sure everyone gets paid and that we all stay connected & supported. 🙌🏻

While our therapists help clients find peace, Sisto helps us all stay sane-with a perfect schedule and a kind voice on the phone. She keeps the office stocked with supplies and makes sure it sparkles! ✨

“When I’m not keeping the practice flowing like a well-balanced system I am probably watching a true crime or reality tv with my black lab, Jade.” 🐕‍🦺🦴

Therapists help the clients. Sisto helps the therapists. 💜

Starting next THURSDAY, JULY 24th @ 6:30pm join the lovely Taylor for an 8 week creative book club group inspired by Brene Brown’s beautiful book Atlas of the Heart 🫀❤️ (plus get your own copy with registration!)

👥 Each week Taylor will guide the group through discussion and learning of two chapters paired with an expressive arts activity to explore and process concepts of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

📖 This group is open to adults who enjoy reading and crafting and want to learn more about the human emotional landscape (from a social science and research based perspective) and how we connect with others.

🌟🎉 Please welcome our newest crew member - Taylor Bortner, LCSW

💥Taylor began with us in March of this year and has been full steam ahead building her client caseload & getting right into her supportive role with clients.

✌🏻Taylor’s therapeutic style can be described as easy-going and empathic. She values transparency and showing up as her authentic self so that her clients can feel safe to do the same.

🎭 Taylor uses an eclectic mix of structured vs. client-centered approach during sessions depending on her clients needs & preferences. Her favorite modalities are DBT, expressive arts, psychodynamic/insight-oriented and humanistic inspired.

👽 When Taylor is not in session she is probably making art, doing some gardening or hiking. She loves to travel, read, camp, and watch UFO or true crime docs to relax. She is super creative and driven to think outside the box whether at home or in the office.

💚 Taylor is accepting new clients on a limited basis as she is already very busy. Please reach out if you’d like to schedule some time with Taylor or any of us

💚You're not dramatic.
💚You're not cold.
💚And you're certainly not too much.

You're responding in ways your body learned to keep you safe. 🛟

‼️PTSD doesn't always look like flashbacks or panic attacks. Sometimes it looks like over-apologizing, overthinking, overworking - or shutting down completely. These are not flaws. They're adaptations.

❤️‍🩹Trauma-informed healing is possible. You don't have to carry it alone. 👥
