Choose your own coastal-inspired piece to paint, either a fish spoon rest or a crab spoon rest, handcrafted just for this event. While your masterpiece dries, savor delicious food from Fish Whistle at the Granary and soak in the beautiful views of the Sassafras River alongside fellow survivors. Projects will be kiln-fired after the event, with easy arrangements for pick up or delivery.

Breathe in the fresh air and soak up an afternoon of connection and joy at RedStone Ranch in Dover, DE!

Young Survivors in Action invites breast cancer survivors to join us for a scenic horseback trail ride and a hands-on mini horse care session. Come laugh, learn, and spend time with these incredible animals while building community with other survivors. No riding experience needed, just bring your sense of adventure. Spots are limited, and while the horseback riding portion has a 250 lb weight limit, everyone is welcome to enjoy the horse care session and a peaceful day at the ranch.

Our Story

Young Survivors in Action (YSIA) focuses on the issues and concerns facing younger women diagnosed with breast cancer. The main goal of YSIA is to provide networking, support, and education to young women diagnosed with breast cancer in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s and early 50's. Topics include but are not limited to; nutrition, fertility, motherhood, stress, family, and continuing to live life to the fullest.
