🌟 Meet the Staff Monday: Jessica E., MSW 🌟
Jessica is such a sweet soul and has been a wonderful addition to our mental health team since joining us earlier this year. She brings a wealth of knowledge, a comforting presence, and the kindest demeanor. Her calm energy and warm smile make families feel supported the moment they walk through the door.

Jessica has a natural ability to connect with children and caregivers, meeting them exactly where they are and guiding them with compassion. She is thoughtful, patient, and deeply committed to helping families build emotional wellness and healthy coping skills.

Fun fact, Jessica just got married within the last month, and we are so excited for her as she starts this new chapter.

We are so grateful to have Jessica as part of the Beyond family. 💙

🎲 Moments That Matter: Growing Through Games 🎲
Games may look simple, but they are packed with learning. When children play games in therapy, they are practicing turn taking, attention, problem solving, hand eye coordination, and fine motor skills all at the same time. And the best part is that it feels fun, not like work.

In this moment, our kiddo is fully focused and engaged, using tools, following steps, and building confidence with every move. Game based therapy is a powerful way to support development while keeping kids motivated and excited to participate.

These small moments of joy, connection, and playful challenge help children grow in ways that carry over into home, school, and everyday routines.

👄 Moments That Matter: Oral Motor Exploration 👄
Oral motor skills play a huge role in speech, feeding, and overall development. Before kids can safely chew, drink, or coordinate their mouths for sounds, they first need to explore how their lips, tongue, and jaw move. That is why playful oral motor activities are such an important part of therapy.

In this moment, our kiddo is exploring mouth movements while her therapist models with tools and visuals that make learning fun and engaging. Through imitation, practice, and gentle guidance, children build strength, coordination, and awareness of how their mouths work.

These small, joyful moments create big foundations for future feeding skills, speech clarity, and confidence during mealtimes and communication.

Hannah joined the Beyond team earlier this year, and she has been such a bright and uplifting addition to our clinic. She is one of the most positive, easygoing people you will ever meet, and she always has a smile on her face. Her calm presence brings comfort to families, and her enthusiasm makes sessions fun and engaging for her kiddos.

Hannah loves the families she serves and pours her heart into helping each child grow. She is eager to learn, quick to jump in wherever she’s needed, and already shows the qualities of an exceptional clinician. Whether she’s connecting with parents, collaborating with her team, or celebrating small wins with her children, Hannah leads with kindness, patience, and joy.

We are so grateful to have Hannah as part of the Beyond Family. 💙

🏀 Saturday Moments That Matter 🏀
At Beyond, we treasure the moments when a child feels completely engaged, excited, and supported. Playing basketball in therapy is more than a game. It gives kids a chance to practice important developmental skills while feeling safe to try, explore, and grow.

Every toss builds coordination. Every jump strengthens muscles. Every cheer from a therapist builds confidence and connection. These shared experiences help kids take meaningful steps toward their goals while truly enjoying the process.

Welcome to the Beyond Art Museum, where every masterpiece is celebrated and every artist is valued. Our kids created each of these drawings, and we love giving them a place to shine.

Art is more than something to hang on the wall. It helps kids express themselves, build fine motor skills, strengthen visual motor coordination, and develop confidence. Most of all, it gives them a voice and a way to show the world who they are.

These small creative moments matter. They help children feel proud of their work, seen for their strengths, and connected to a community that cheers them on.

Feeding therapy is about so much more than trying new foods. It is about connection, confidence, and creating positive experiences around eating. Sometimes that means getting a little silly, adding play, and meeting kids exactly where they are.
