Mobile Meals of Dover-New Phila., Inc. Mobile Meals is a non-profit, client pay, meal delivery program. We deliver to Dover, New Phila., Strasburg, Sugarcreek and Bolivar Ohio.call 330-364-0870

We are a meal delivery program for those unable to cook for themselves due to illness, injury, disabililty or age. There are no age requirments and a doctors order is not necessary. We deliver a hot meal to be eaten at lunch time and a hot soup with a sandwich for a lighter dinner. Each day, a fruit and dessert are included as well.We deliver Monday through Friday between 12:15-1p. Meals come out of Union Hospital and are prepared by hospital kitchen staff. Packing and delivering are done by volunteers. Costs of meals are $32.50 per week, per person. To sign up, volunteer or get more information, call the office M-F, between 10-2 at 330-364-0870

Goodness!! So much snow! It’s beautiful but could be very dangerous for our volunteers. The majority are retired folks, and not wanting to risk their safety or health, Mobile Meals will be cancelled again tomorrow, Tuesday 1/27. Supposed to have more snow plus -25° with windchill. If you have elderly neighbors, and are able to check on them, please make sure they have food and heat. They were all instructed before winter to make sure they had some things in the pantry or freezer just in case. Unfortunately, winter has dumped a lot of snow all at once. Take care everyone! Stay safe, stay warm.

1973-2025, 52 years this year!! Delivering to those who cannot provide nutritious hot meals for themselves. Last night, 9/9/25, we celebrated and recognized our volunteers who make it all possible! Over 100 kind hearted souls were in attendance to break bread together, share stories, reminisce and watch fellow volunteers hit milestones in their volunteer careers, from new volunteers all the way to celebrating 35 years, and still volunteering. We appreciate all those who give of their time to help us to help the community we live in.
Thank you to all our volunteers, past and present.

If you, or someone you know, is available to deliver meals one day a week for Mobile Meals, please let me know. Pickup is between noon and 12:30 depending on the route, and routes take an hour or less, typically. We have routes in Dover, New Philadelphia, Strasburg, Sugarcreek and Bolivar. 330-364-0870. We have several local businesses that help by sending one or two people for a route once a week, perhaps your company could too! 😊 it’s a rewarding experience. Call today to find out more.

Thank you to everyone involved with the Sugarcreek Rotary for all of their hard work to give each of the Mobile Meals clients a free breakfast Friday during their pancake/sausage fundraiser. Thank you to all of the sponsors that donated the funds to make it all possible! What a blessing for them to do that each year for them. The clients truly appreciate it and look forward to it. The rotary dropped off 127 meals and the fantastic Mobile Meals volunteers delivered them. THANKS AGAIN!!
