Congratulations to the Triangle Club for receiving the 2026 Nonprofit of the Year award from the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce!

The Triangle Club is a peer-driven recovery nonprofit based in Dover, hosting recovery meetings 7 days a week. As a Mainspring partner, their Executive Director, Heather Blumenfeld, has done incredible work over the past year, working in-person at Mainspring twice a week to make recovery support more accessible to our community.

Heather's impact at Mainspring cannot be overstated; she provides crucial and timely support to individuals accessing Mainspring's services and does so with immense compassion and meaningful guidance. She has been a vital collaborator for our staff and case managers, and we are so grateful for her partnership.

We extend a heartfelt congratulations to Heather and the rest of the team at the Triangle Club! We recognize and celebrate the remarkable work you do, today and every day!

Mainspring is excited to invite the community to join us on February 23rd for our first Mainspring Cooks session! Mainspring Cooks is a Footprints program that will offer cost free cooking lessons across six sessions. Learn healthy, budget-friendly recipes and essential kitchen skills, all while having fun surrounded by community.

Did you know there is a growing Somersworth Mental Health Alliance (SMHA)? People who live, work and play in Somersworth are coming together to talk about mental health, stigma elimination and su***de prevention. We invite anyone who has ties to Somersworth to be part of these conversations. The next SMHA meeting is right around the corner, Thursday, February 19 from 5-6:30pm at Granite YMCA.

It was a pleasure to attend the annual Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce awards ceremony earlier this week to recognize the 2026 honorees.

I was so inspired to hear each speaker share a few words and be reminded yet again what an amazing community we live in. The organizations and individuals that dedicate their time, ideas, and resources to bring us together and dream big are the glue and the building blocks that make Dover what it is. We are all better for it.
