Eye color is determined by the amount and distribution of melanin, the pigment that gives color to your eyes, hair, and skin ,in the iris, the colored part of the eye. People with brown eyes have a high amount of melanin, which gives a rich, dark color and helps protect against sunlight. 👀

Cataracts are a clouding of the eye’s natural lens, which lies behind the iris and the pupil. This cloudiness causes blurry or dim vision and can make it harder to see clearly, especially at night or in bright light.

They cannot grow back, however a membrane behind the lens can become cloudy. This is treatable with a quick laser procedure.
