Providing individualized substance abuse treatment on an outpatient basis. Services include individual counseling, and intensive outpatient treatment.

We are a private facility focused on the treatment of substance abuse and mental health disorders. Services include outpatient individual counseling, drug screening, school substance abuse evaluations for all ages, and adult intensive outpatient groups in both the day and evening. Day hours of IOP are MWF 10am-1pm, and evening IOP hours are MWTh from 6pm-9pm.

Our recurring FREE and open-to-the-public Virtual Workshop Series is back, hosted by Excel Treatment Center and The Milestone House.

This month and next, we’re adding a special third workshop to help families navigate the stress and pressure that often come with the holidays.

We’ll come prepared with insights and suggestions, but these workshops are meant to be a discussion; a space for honest conversation, support, and community. Whether it’s your first time joining or you’re a regular, your voice matters.

Let’s talk about how to show up for ourselves and our loved ones this season, without losing sight of what really matters.

Big thanks to Nicolette Donahue for representing Excel Treatment Center at the Morris County Psychotherapist Network Luncheon! Her presentation on EMDR and the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) population was powerful, informative, and deeply impactful. We’re proud to be part of a community that values trauma-informed care and continued learning.

The Milestone House residents and clients of Excel Treatment Center attended Adventure Weekend with this last weekend. This is a great service provided by CIC every spring and fall. Food and lodging provided for a beautiful escape filled with adventure! It is affordable for everyone and we are grateful for all they do in the recovery community. See you in the spring!!

Recovery Month Success Story: NICO

When we first met Nico, he was in a dark and difficult place. It was painful for him and emotional for his family. Watching him step into recovery and truly flourish has been nothing short of inspiring.

Recently, he shared his story at our Friday night meeting and it’s clear he has a real gift. Nico has a way of speaking that’s powerful, honest, and accessible to everyone who listens. Congratulations on over a year of continuous sobriety!!

We are so grateful he found his way here and we can’t wait to see all that lies ahead for him.

We know how overwhelming it can be to support a loved one struggling with addiction. That’s why Excel Treatment Center is launching a series of free, virtual family workshops — designed to empower, educate, and bring hope.

We are thrilled to be announcing our new Virtual Family and Friends Workshop Series. Launching on Wednesday, September 17th at 5:30pm. Each workshop will be one hour and repeated monthly. As we grow, we will be adding new workshops to help strengthen our skills and sense of community. All workshops are free and open to the public.
