Steve Cascio is a six year veteran officer with our friends at Lake Zurich Police Department . Steve was involved in a catastrophic motor vehicle crash while on his way to work. He was entrapped in his vehicle for an extended period of time and airlifted to a trauma center. Steve sustained a compound fracture to his shin, fractures to his right knee, femur, arm, and ribs. Steve's injuries will require an extensive hospital stay and a long recovery.

Steve is a loving husband to Stephanie, a stay-at-home mom who cares for their two young children, Eva and Jimmy. He is a great friend and an active member of his church. He is assigned to the Traffic Safety Division, is a field training officer, and a peer support member.

This fundraiser will be used to support Steve's family in the coming weeks and months to handle their living expenses as Stephanie manages caring for Steve and their children. Please help our brother officer and his family in his hour of need.

Our laser cut tourniquet pouch has the ability to offer two levels of retention. The first, being a standard pouch. The second, allows you to add 4" elastic band to the inside of the pull strap. This pouch offers easier access, and better retention than some others on the market. When using 2 layers of retention, the inner strap can be pulled up to 17.5" away from the pouch. This allows tourniquets to be carried in "non-traditional" areas of the uniform (rear, flank, upside down).
