Tightness along the inner thigh/hamstring can inhibit:

Hip extension — making it harder to fully open the back of the hip.

Hip abduction — limiting your ability to move the leg out to the side.

Pelvic stability — pulling the pelvis into slight tuck or rotation.

Glute activation

Deep core responsiveness — because pelvic positioning affects how the abdominal wall and diaphragm coordinate.

Efficient gait mechanics — shortening stride and altering push-off.
