Happy Nov 1st! Just a reminder that as moms, things don’t always go to plan. It can be frustrating. It can be tiring. It can be scary - especially if you’re raising kiddos like mine with executive functioning / impulsivity challenges who decide it’s fine to just escape the house on Halloween night 😅🫠

I’ve learned to try and find joy in the chaos, even though it isn’t in my nature to be spontaneous and flexible. Often, my own anxiety gets in the way of relaxing enough to enjoy the random gifts life brings.

Cheers to all of you other mamas out there, riding the same roller coaster of what-the-heck-did-my-kids-do-now and do-I-scream-or-laugh.

We’re gonna make it. And so will they.
