The South East Association for Special Parks And Recreation (SEASPAR) provides dynamic recreation programs and quality services for individuals with disabilities served by the park districts of Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lemont, Lisle, Westmont, and Woodridge, and the villages of Brookfield, Indian Head Park, and Western Springs, Illinois. Our page provides an opportunity for you to connect, share, and communicate with SEASPAR and fellow fans. We expect all of the interactions on our Page to be pertinent, respectful, and appropriate for a public forum. We have the right to remove content from our Page which falls into one or more of the following categories:

1. Comments not topically related to the particular content being commented upon;
2. Profane or sexual language, links, or content;

Henry is a burst of energy and joy in every program he joins! ⚡😄 Whether he’s making younger friends feel welcome in Music and Me 🎶, busting out dance moves at Pin Pals 💃🎳, or dodging tags in a super competitive game of tag (he’s never caught, of course!) 🏃‍♂️💨 — Henry makes every moment unforgettable.

He’s got a goofy streak 🤪, a heart full of cheer 🎉, and a celebration dance always ready to go! 🕺 Henry is also known for being the best cheerleader — always hyping up his friends after a strike or a spare 👏🎳, especially when towering friends like Nick walk in the room. 🧍‍♂️❤️

Henry, you light up our programs with humor, kindness, and your one-of-a-kind personality. 💙 We’re so lucky to have you in the SEASPAR family!

🏊‍♂️✨ SEASPAR Swim Meet: A Day of Leadership, Heart, and Outstanding Performances! ✨🏊‍♀️

Last Saturday, SEASPAR hosted a Swim Meet at that families described as exceptionally well organized — a true showcase of leadership, teamwork, and community spirit.

Even with the freezing temperatures outside, our athletes showed incredible resilience. Wrapped in towels, cheering for one another, and waiting patiently for their turn, they demonstrated the heart that defines inclusive sports. And once they hit the water, they gave everything they had.

We were proud to share the pool with our fellow agencies:
FVSRA, NWCSRA, NWSRA, and WDSRA.

🏈 Spartan Strong from Regionals to State! 💪💙

Our incredible SEASPAR Spartans Flag Football teams brought the energy this season! 🔥

At the Regional Tournament:
🔹 Spartans Blue finished strong in 3rd place
🔹 Spartans White earned a spot at the Special Olympics Illinois State Tournament—and on November 1, they powered through the competition to bring home 2nd place in their division! 🥈🎉

These teams didn’t just play the game—they played with heart ❤️, sportsmanship 🤝, and the unstoppable spirit that makes SEASPAR proud.
