Consequences are how people learn resilience, responsibility, and growth. When you step in and shield someone from the fallout of their choices, you’re not helping—you’re actually keeping them stuck. That’s how toxic dependency is built. It feels like love, but it’s really control in disguise. True love gives others the dignity of facing their reality and growing from it.

Ask yourself: am I rescuing because I care, or because I can’t stand the discomfort of watching them struggle? One leads to growth. The other leads to repeated dysfunction.

If you’re ready to let go of the reins in someone else’s life and let them face their own consequences, comment “RELEASE.”

📣It's National Psychotherapy Day!

National Psychotherapy Day is recognized annually on September 25. For a long time, mental illness was not recognized as a legitimate health issue. Over the years, there has been a growing understanding that true well-being requires both physical and mental health to be in balance. Thankfully, significant progress has been made in the treatment of mental health conditions with one major advancement being psychotherapy. Despite this, there is still a strong need to raise awareness about psychotherapy and the many benefits it can offer.

Processing loss is an emotional skill set that we need but often lack. This group will help you grow in this area by processing a loss where you feel stuck. Perhaps it’s a past or present loss, such as health concerns, relationship struggles, unfulfilled dreams, losing a job, or adjusting to corporate changes. Even positive transitions can come with loss.

This group is open to anyone who needs a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space to facilitate your process.
