Hi LEADers:

the federal government will launch www.covidtests.gov, which is a website that will allow individuals to order free at-home COVID-19 antigen tests that will be delivered directly to their home The website is now live to order your kits! Starting tomorrow, every household will be able to log onto www.COVIDTests.gov and request up to 4 COVID at-home test kits at no cost, this includes shipping. To place an order, all you need is your name and residential address. No ID, credit card, or health insurance information is required to order. You may also share your email address to get updates on your order. Tests ship 7-12 days after you order. This program is in addition to the 8 tests your insurance pays for, per month, if insured. All tests distributed as part of this program are FDA-authorized at-home rapid antigen tests. If you need assistance with this, please call us during regular business hours and one of our advocates can assist you.

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days.

GOOD NEWS: Youth events will be held virtually. And we have some pretty fun events coming up!

Jan. 14- Vision Boards! I know some of you did this activity before witH Dave. But I'd love to get to know you all and see what you want to achieve as well as get to know your personalities. I'll set up a Google Slides where we can all work together on our own boards

Jan. 20- Improv Comedy! Ok, so we're going to try this one out. It's new! I have a couple of games lined up that require improvising and maybe some acting out. and if it doesn't go as planned, hey we can Improvise!!

Jan 28: Crip Camp discussion! We'll be discussing the documentary Crip Camp. It centers around a group of youth with disabilities who attended a camp, bonded, and started advocating for themselves and others! It's awesome. For this activity, in order to fully participate in the discussion, I recommend you watch the documentary before the event but if you don't you are still welcome to attend. It is on Netflix and also available on Youtube.
