Since our founding in 1989, St. Martha Center has proudly served in Downingtown and surrounding communities in Chester County by providing exceptional care. Our bright, spacious one story building is situated on a beautifully landscaped campus with numerous outdoor gardens, walking paths and even a putting green! The beautiful Chapel serves as a place of worship for residents where Mass is celebrated daily by the Chaplain. Martha Center’s staff is to promote the independence, optimal health and spiritual well being of their residents. Our caring and professional staff adhere to the philosophy that “Our residents don’t live in our facility, we work in their home.” Creative activities serve a wide range of interests and include pet therapy visits, gardening, musical events, and outings into the local community. Martha Center is adjacent to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Martha Center shares its campus with St. Martha Villa for Independent and Retirement Living, and together constitute a Continuing Retirement Community featuring Independent Living and Personal Care apartments, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. Martha Center is a proud affiliate of Catholic Health Group, Stewards of the Catholic Tradition in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
