Chia Seeds vs. Basil Seeds: Which Tiny Seed Packs the Bigger Health Punch?
Chia seeds and basil seeds are both small but mighty sources of fiber, protein, minerals, and plant-based omega-3 fats. Basil seeds are slightly higher in fiber, calcium, and iron, while chia seeds are easier to find, more affordable, and higher in omega-3s and magnesium. Both can support digestion, fullness, blood sugar balance, cholesterol, and overall gut health—just be sure to drink enough water when adding more fiber.
