Dr. Roxanne Kimminau, Pharmacist, RPh

Roxanne, a wonderful addition to our Corner Drug and Gift family, joined us in late 2025.

Graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1995, Roxanne brings a wealth of knowledge, a friendly and easygoing personality, and a sense of humor to the workplace. Roxanne continuously goes above and beyond to efficiently complete duties, even if it requires extra time. Her dedication and hard work make her a joy to work with.

When asked about her favorite part her job, Roxanne states she enjoys the compassionate co-workers, kind patients, and having a coffee shop just for the street.

Fun fact: Roxanne is excited to become a first time grandma this year!

We are incredibly thankful for all that Roxanne has to offer and happy to call her part of our family!

Alicia, a valued member of the Corner Drug and Gift family since 2022, has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure smooth operations in the store. She also contributes to the store’s marketing efforts by providing innovative ideas. Alicia’s friendly face makes her a welcoming presence to anyone who enters our store. Currently, she serves as a pharmacy clerk and is actively pursuing her certification as a pharmacy technician.

When asked about her favorite part of her job, Alicia states that she is always happy to assist patients and customers, and enjoys being able to connect with people in the community.

Fun fact: Alicia loves to sing. If you ever pop into the store, you’ll likely hear her singing or humming.

Ariana, a valued member of the Corner Drug and Gift family since 2014, has taken on various roles, including video creation, video editing, technical expertise, front window display artistry, and inspiring creativity. Her diverse talents and skills make her an invaluable asset to our store. Ariana radiates positivity when greeting our patients and customers, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

When asked about her favorite aspects of her job, Ariana enjoys working with her co-workers and seeing the friendly faces of our patients and customers. Oh! She also loves when people bring their beloved pets into the store.

Fun Fact: Ariana has a pet snail named Gerald Clarence the 1st.

Shawna Doane, Pharm.D.

Shawna’s career started in 2002 when she worked as a pharmacy intern at Corner Drug & Gift.

After graduating from the University of Kansas in 2008, Shawna returned to Downs to work as a pharmacist at Corner Drug & Gift.
In March of 2020, Shawna purchased Corner Drug and became its face.

Shawna is an active member within the community and an avid supporter of local schools, and community events. Shawna is also a member of Xi Theta Epsilon and further extends her support for the community alongside her sisters.

When asked, Shawna states her favorite part of her job is helping the people in the community.

Fun fact: at the age of 41, she learned to drive a tractor!

We are thankful for Shawna, as our fearless leader, our pharmacist and our friend!
