This event brings together around 50 Recovery Centers and their leaders, creating a warm atmosphere where like-minded individuals can gather, share a meal, and reconnect. During these gatherings, they exchange updates on their services and reinforce their shared commitment to improving the lives of those affected by mental illness and substance use disorders. Storytelling and filmmaking can celebrate the joys of medicine and support ethical AI development. By sharing narratives, we foster connections among stakeholders, reminding them that they share similar experiences. My journey as a caregiver informs my perspective and allows me to utilize storytelling to advance healthcare .

It’s a nurturing community that has consistently met every week for four years, creating a safe space for connection and growth.

Hello everyone! I’m excited to share that our Chief Interventionist and Advisor, Pat Kelly (), made a remarkable appearance at the WCSAD Conference in La Quinta, Palm Springs, where over 1,600 attendees gathered! Pat participated in a panel discussion with the Addiction Treatment Advocacy Coalition (ATAC), focusing on the crucial issue of ensuring that insurance companies provide timely and adequate payments for treatment.

We at IRC are proud to be associated with such an experienced recovery professional who is deeply connected with a vibrant community of mental health and recovery advocates, as well as recovery facilities throughout the West Coast. We also extend our gratitude to our Advisor and Chemical Dependency Executive for bringing Pat into the IRC community, which is dedicated to maintaining a safe and ethical environment as we strive to support those affected by mental illness and addiction.
