This Sound and Breath Journey is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to yourself. We will begin connecting our breath and body in a deeply embodied breathwork meditation to relax the nervous system and settle the mind before opening into an organic vibrational sound frequency flow to guide you back into coherence and presence.

✨ MEET MARI CASTLE ✨

Dr. Mari Castle, PhD is a Certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator who integrates Jungian and Transpersonal psychology to offer organic, inner healing. Mari is devoted to awakening higher consciousness through the integration of science, spirituality, and myth.

An author of two insightful books exploring the ancient Sumerian culture of 5,000 years ago, and the goddess Inanna, Mari offers an archetypal perspective of the sacred masculine and feminine union within that aligns with the Jungian Individuation process.

Her workshops and courses draw from her background in Transpersonal Psychology, Oriental Medicine, and Jungian studies. Her approach weaves Holotropic Breathwork, shamanic principles, and archetypal mythology to help others heal and release trauma, awaken the heart, and remember the soul’s divine nature.

Having facilitated over 300 Holotropic Breathwork journeys since 2005, Mari embodies the archetype of the modern mystic — a bridge between worlds — inviting others to move beyond ordinary awareness into the sacred realms of consciousness that exist beyond everyday life.

Through her writing, courses, trainings and Transformational Coaching program, Mari inspires a return to wholeness, authenticity, and the awakening of the divine human. For two decades, she has utilized modern consciousness research to hold space for others as a facilitator of Stan Grof’s Holotropic Breathwork. Her approach emphasizes trust in the healing wisdom within that guides people to experience transformation, awakening of self-knowledge, and releasing what no longer serves the soul’s journey.

Mari resides in Florida where her own healing journey began in 1997. After a major car accident, she was led to holistic healing modalities and discovered Holotropic Breathwork. This deep breathwork allowed her to heal her childhood trauma and overcome suicidal tendencies. She discovered that safely accessing other realms of consciousness helped her feel more whole. Marina wanted to become one of them one day.

Marina was introduced to Yoga in childhood by her father, a soccer player and an athlete. She became passionate about her yoga practice while studying the writings of the Indian Master Swami Sivananda, and many years later visited his Ashram in Rishikesh, India.

Her yoga practice and teaching were influenced by Shiva Rea and Rodney Yee, followed by Paul Benedict’s guidance for spiritual growth.

She started teaching at Wendy Fit Yoga and Pilates Studio and on the Tampa Bay Yoga Cruises and Wendy Fit Retreats in 2007. Wendy became her inspiration and yoga friend.

Marina teaches Yoga on the Beach, Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Hot Yoga, Pilates, Aerial Yoga, Thai Yoga Therapy, and Pranayama. Facial Yoga has become her new passion. A new name came up — “WOW Yoga”: slow-paced, mindful yoga poses incorporated with Facial Yoga.

Her students and followers are not only in Florida but also in the Austrian Alps. Marina visited the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Rishikesh, India, and studied the history and mystery of yoga poses.

She deepened her spiritual knowledge during a recent trip to India with Tejasvi / Deja Cross and Vandana in March 2025.

Honored to participate and partner with Vandana at the Smoky Mountain Yoga and Wellness Festival in June 2025.

Presented at the St. Pete Yoga Festival 2024 in Sunken Gardens and 2025 at St. Pete Pier.

Lineage & Roots

A yoga practitioner since 1993 and E-RYT 500, Deja trained in the Viniyoga lineage and the teachings of Kashmir Shaivism. She lived for many years on the banks of the holy Ganga in Rishikesh, immersed in sādhana—āsana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, sound and silence, and pilgrimage—as a disciple of Shri Mahant Mukesh Giri Ji Maharaj in Jhilmil Gufa, the legendary cave of Gorakh Nath’s tapasya. This depth infuses her life and every circle with reverence and living presence.

While in India, Deja founded the Rishikesh International Film Festival (celebrating spiritual, holistic living, and social- and eco-conscious films and events), Shakti Rising International (women-honoring ceremonies in India and the US), and Ganga Blessings (grassroots seva supporting women, children, education, and ecology).

With an MBA, a BS in Mathematics, and three decades of entrepreneurial experience blending community, hospitality, creativity, and spirituality, Deja creates spaces that feel both deeply safe and vibrantly alive.
