Steal My Favorite Overnight Oats Recipe 😋

Chocolate 🍫 Blueberry 🫐 Overnight Oats 🥣
✔️1 scoop of chocolate protein
✔️ 1/2 cup of GF Oats
✔️ 100 g of organic blueberries
✔️ 100g of non-fat Greek yogurt
Splash of coconut milk
Add cinnamon and some salt to taste

Before eating.. top with 75g of Greek yogurt and some cinnamon for extra protein!

In total we have 50g of protein and just under 500 calories 💥

My exact macros are 50 P | 6 F | 60 C for 494 calories 💪🏻

Balance & How To Find It For You & Your Kids 🍩⚖️

Does your “diet” allow treats like donuts in it?

If it doesn’t, my guess is this “diet” won’t last or lead you to the long term results you want. 👎🏻

🙌🏻 Lifestyle eating is allowing yourself to enjoy fun foods like donuts, ice cream, chips or whatever your go to treat is.

Not allowing foods that you enjoy (IN MODERATION), is a sure fire way to lose the progress you make while trying to lose weight.. hello burnout.

3️⃣ Ways We Find Balance in Choices

🤝 Eat whole foods 80-90% of the time. These will guide our hunger cues and signaling best while giving us the most nutrients possible. This helps to increase energy and regulate hunger daily.🤓

🤝 Plan in advance. If we know we are going to go to a bakery and get a donut or enjoy pizza on a football Saturday - we eat a little lighter for other meals. Simple, but it involves discipline. For example: having egg whites, veggies, and Canadian bacon with a piece of fruit for breakfast when were going to enjoy a pumpkin caramel donut later😋

🤝 Don’t let 1 choice roll into 10. If one day we overeat or enjoy a treat, we don’t say screw it and continue to eat all the calorically heavy foods. Catch yourself, don’t let one not so great choices turn into a weekend of bad choices.

When in doubt, practice moderation. And remember, its never too late to start 😎

Pre-workout Meal ♾️

IF YOU CAN, 💪 Fuel before you lift for better results.

A pre-workout meal should focus on protein + carbs to maximize performance, muscle growth, and fat loss.

✅ Protein (like Greek yogurt) provides essential amino acids, especially leucine, which triggers muscle protein synthesis — the process that builds new muscle.

✅ Carbs (like berries) top off glycogen stores, giving your muscles fast, usable energy to train harder and longer.

✅ Together, this combo reduces muscle breakdown, supports recovery, and helps your body burn fat more efficiently during exercise.

One of my go-to’s? 👉 Greek yogurt with berries — easy to digest, rich in protein, antioxidants, and low-GI carbs for sustained energy.

Eat smart before you train and your body will thank you after. 🔥

Been a minute but still keeping meals simple and effective 💯

Protein: Costco Steak Bites
Carb: Potatoes, Squash blend, and Green Beans + slice of GF Sourdough
Fat: Mashed Avocado

This was roughly 55g of protein and super simple AND filling 😋

No fancy meal plans or fancy 5 star meals. Just hit each of your macros and eat to 80% full and you’ll be perfect whether you’re tracking or not.

Think water doesn’t matter for fat loss?

Think again.

Hydration impacts everything—from digestion and appetite to metabolism and energy levels.

When you’re dehydrated, cravings increase, workouts feel harder, and fat loss slows down.

Here’s a simple rule:

Drink half your body weight in ounces of water per day (that’s 90 oz if you weigh 180 lbs).

It’s easy to overlook, but getting this basic right makes everything else work better.
