March has always been a hard month for me. There are many birthdays in my family this month, including my sister’s. She passed away 18 years ago, and not a March goes by that I don’t miss her and the others I’ve lost.

My sister was someone who made everyone feel welcome. She talked to everyone, helped everyone, and her house was always full of people. She had a way of making people feel seen and important.
Losing her, and becoming a caregiver later in life, is a big part of why I care so much about wellness, stress, and gentle self-care. Sometimes people are carrying heavy things you can’t see.

So for me, March has become a “Month of Gentle Wellness.”

A month to remember to drink water, take deep breaths, go for walks, rest when needed, and be a little kinder to yourself.

If March — or any time of year — is hard for you too, you’re not alone. 🤍

This month, we focus on gentle wellness together. 🌿💧
