As an autism specialty and lifespan practice, many of our clients include autistic adults. We have noticed that this is an often forgotten and underserved community of the autistic population, who are navigating adulthood and its challenges while facing a lack of support and understanding from others regarding neurodiversity and autism. Last year’s conference was a great success, and we are excited to offer new topics for our next conference. We will cover various topics including burnout, executive functioning, trauma in autistic adults, workplace accommodations from an HR and legal perspective, adult services and supports, and more.

We welcome and encourage mental health providers, employers, medical providers, education staff and directors, students, families of autistic teens and adults, and autistic individuals to attend. This conference, co-sponsored by Delaware Valley University, promises to be a valuable opportunity for learning in a way that honors and uplifts the voices of autistic individuals, and we hope to see you there.

Autism Spectrum Diagnostics and Consulting is offering groups for children, tween, and teen girls! Ages 8-10, 11-13, and 14-16.

Being a female with social communication differences and/or social anxiety can be very difficult. Females often have great basic social skills; however, have more difficulty managing these skills in a social situation. Females can sometimes have difficultly sustaining relationships with their peers and often feel left out by their peers. Because being a female comes with unique challenges and, therefore, requires specific interventions and strategies, our practice will be offering social groups specifically for females! Sample topics include initiating and maintaining relationships with peers, masking/camouflaging, use of social media and technology, bullying and being excluded, nonverbal communication, managing anxiety and stress, etc.

The group will meet for 8, once weekly sessions on Thursdays starting in January 2026 in Marlton, NJ. Members will be grouped based on their age, language abilities, and goals for the group. Attention: Lego®-based Social Skills Group Winter Session in Marlton, NJ

Children will be grouped by age, language abilities, and social skills goals. Lego®-Based Therapy, or Lego®-Club as it is called by group members, is an evidenced based treatment where children develop skills through collaboration on group projects through the use of Lego®. Group members collaborate on building sets, free style projects, and creating
and producing short stop-action films. Children with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and other social challenges are welcome! You do not need to have a formal diagnosis to participate.

Adult facilitators provide feedback and coaching in real-time targeting skill development in the areas of cooperation, problem solving, reciprocal conversation, joint-attention, and flexibility leading to increased maintenance and generalization of skills to other settings. Most importantly, Lego®-Club becomes a place where children identify with a peer group, build friendships beyond the confines of the club, and find a place where their peers and adult coaches understand, encourage, and celebrate their talents.
