Well this one was rough.

Sometimes your mind is required and doesn’t show up. Sometimes you have to accept that today won’t be that day for breaking records, and that is okay.

Perhaps it was the cookies (yes this health nut eats Christmas cookies), perhaps it was not getting to bed at your normal time. Perhaps it was the slacking of cooking in the last two weeks and not eating your normal foods. Perhaps it was stopping your pre-workout because it seems to be having some side effects. Perhaps it’s a few days before your me**es and you’re just at that low workout capacity (yes, this is normal).

I say all of this to normalize the fluctuations of life. I didn’t feel it today. That’s ok. I showed up and will continue to show up. I continue to adjust to keep myself feeling the best I can.

Back to morning smoothies and cooking at home 🙂
