Varna Residents - Notice of Water & Sewer Construction

On behalf of the Town of Dryden, we would like to notify you that construction for the Varna Water & Sewer Improvements project will begin this week within the Hamlet of Varna. Work hours are between 7:00am-7:00pm, Monday through Friday. Construction is anticipated to continue until November 2026. During this time, expect shoulder and sidewalk closures in various locations on Rt. 366 between Freese Road and Forest Home Drive. For your safety, we ask that you keep a safe distance from construction areas and equipment. If work is planned along the frontage of your property, the contractor will provide at least 24 hours’ notice prior to starting.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these important infrastructure improvements are completed.

Repair Cafe Dryden - October 4th!

Dryden's Climate Action Committee is excited to bring Repair Cafe to the community.

Bring your items to be repaired and participate in putting them back into useable condition.

Repair Cafe is a group of volunteer 'fixers' willing to share their skills to benefit the community. Do you have a ‘fixing’ skill that you’d like to share? Please email RepairCafeDryden@gmail.com.

Repair Cafe Dryden will host its first repair event on Saturday, October 4, from 10am to 2pm at Neptune Hose Company (Dryden Fire Hall), 26 North Street, Dryden, NY. Stay tuned for future Repair Cafe Dryden events.
