Introducing our Kings and Queens for 2026!! For MSU, our Queen is Pinky Kalinowski and King is Joe Uberti. A-Wing Queen is Fran Scolese and King is Larry Smelko. C-Wing Queen is Alberta Scott and King is Paul Baraffalo and last but certainly not least, D-Wing Queen is Mickie Weber and King is Denny Hillebrand! A big thank you to Roses on Main for donating carnations for our party! Our residents had such a beautiful day! Smiles, games and lots of prizes were shared. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible!

We had a beautiful time celebrating Valentine’s Day with our wonderful residents today!! So many smiles, laughter, sweet treats, and special moments shared together. Our residents truly are the heart of everything we do, and we’re so grateful for the love and joy that filled the room. Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Christ The King Manor !!

This Valentine's Day, we celebrated our our staff and the beautiful relationships they share with our residents. It is in every smile, every helping hand, and every life touched. Every day, something special happens within our community. It may be the gentle reassurance during a difficult time, laughter shared throughout the day, or the quiet acts of kindness that often go unnoticed. But they are here and we wanted to spotlight those moments. Because at the heart of everything we do is a simple but powerful truth – We Love What We Do.

For the past 13 years, Gloria Averill has been quietly wrapping our residents in love, one stitch at a time. With incredible dedication and a heart as warm as the blankets she creates, Gloria has handmade more than 220 blankets for our residents. Each blanket is crafted with care, bringing comfort not just to shoulders and laps, but to spirits as well. Her blankets are more than yarn and thread, they are hugs on difficult days, warmth on chilly nights, and reminders that someone cares deeply. Thank you, Gloria, for your generosity and steady kindness that has touched so many lives. Our community is warmer because of you!

Those groundhogs didn’t stand a chance! Our residents showed up with awesome skills, big laughs and serious Whack-a-Groundhog drive this Groundhog Day. The room was full of cheering, friendly competition, and plenty of giggles. Our residents loved every second of it. Huge thanks to our Advantage Therapy Department for dreaming up this crowd favorite. Moments like this show that joy, laughter, and a little friendly competition doesn't have an age limit!!
