Abby Herring, our Manager of Inpatient Medical and Surgical Services, plans many fun activities for our Swing Bed patients, including Movie Mondays with popcorn, crafts, bingo, and more. On Friday, she asked Santa and his elf to stop by the hospital to visit not only our Swing Bed patients but also many other patients, visitors, children, and staff. It was a wonderful day that brought the warmth of Christmas to us all. We hope you enjoy our photos! ❤️💚

Giving Back❤️💚

We are so proud of our employees who came together for several projects this year in support of our community. Employees collected coats, hats, and other clothing for the Transition 2 Hope Resource Center. Non-perishable food items were collected for 50 families and donated to the Du Quoin Food Pantry. Our Rehab Department also sponsored a food drive, and the items were delivered to the Western Egyptian Food Pantry this week. Over the past few weeks, employees have been purchasing toys for the annual Toys for Kids Program through the Du Quoin Jaycees. It is a project that employees look forward to each year. Yesterday, Jim Dimitroff and Jaycee members picked up MANY gifts, which they will deliver to children on Saturday. This is the 48th year that Jim and volunteers have been delivering gifts to children in the community. We are thankful for this program and the incredible work the Du Quoin Jaycees do for our community. What a blessing it is to live in a community that cares so deeply for one another, especially for our children.
