This Diwali, I’m not just celebrating light… I’m becoming the damn source of it.

Years ago, I sat in the ER... exhausted, labeled “the slacker,” barely holding it together while caring for my sick child.

No one saw me.
No one supported me.

And I almost gave up.
On my career, on myself, on the idea that things could be different.

But Diwali reminded me,
Even the smallest light can pierce through the darkest room.
That moment in the ER… that was my darkness.
But it also sparked my fire.

Today, I help nurse coaches and large organizations do what I wish I had back then:

Create real change.
Inside corporations.
Inside systems that have ignored us for too long.
Inside ourselves.

Because Diwali is about choosing light.
Choosing to rise, even when no one’s cheering.

💔 Disappointed. Shocked. But staying professional.

I was scheduled to host the ELEX Conference in Los Angeles, Oct 17–19.

I flew in from the Bay Area, and one of my clients, Stephanie, even flew from Atlanta, six hours of travel to be here.

But when we arrived… the event was canceled.
And no one ever officially notified me.

No email.
No phone call.
No personal communication even though they have my number.

The website is still live and accepting ticket payments, but no one on site.

No clear accountability. No professionalism.

This isn’t just about money, it’s about time, integrity, and respect.

I blocked my entire week for this.
I missed time with my kids and business to show up for something I believed in.

But here’s what I know, the universe always finds a way.

It created a moment for me and my client Stephanie to be together, and now we’re going to create something amazing out of this mess.

Because I value trust, effort, time, and the beautiful community inside my the Corporate Nurse Coach Accelerator (CNCA).

Right now, I’m focusing on taking care of my client first.
Because that’s what leaders do, we show up even when others don’t.
