Hi IFM family! Just a reminder that one of the services MDVIP offers is their Medical Centers of Excellence when you need specialized care.

Dr. Im will continue to refer you to your local specialists and hospitals. However, should you need highly specialized care, second opinions or treatment beyond what is available in our area, you can have peace of mind knowing that MDVIP and Dr. Im can help connect you with the appropriate team of specialists at some of the country’s leading medical institutions through MDVIP’s Medical Centers of Excellence (MCE) program.

Here's how it works: Once you and Dr. Im have determined the appropriate MCE facility and confirmed your insurance coverage for a referral consultation or treatment, MDVIP will:

*Facilitate the scheduling of consultations and appointments
*Assist with the transfer of your medical records including diagnostics, when applicable
*As an ancillary benefit, MDVIP does not charge a fee for the services provided by the MDVIP MCE program. However, any charges for services provided at any of Medical Center of Excellence facilities are between you, your insurance and the facility directly.

These centers are some of the top specialists in the US including: Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, Cleveland Clinic, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Beth Israel and more.
