Dublin Glenn memory care assisted living community sets new standards for Alzheimer's & dementia care

At Dublin Glenn, we understand that each individual's journey with dementia is different so we offer personalized care and services based on each resident's needs, preferences, safety, and comfort. Caring for people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia is our true passion at Dublin Glenn. Our approach to memory care is holistic and takes into account each resident's personality, habits, routines, and care needs. Our goal is for each resident and their family to feel safe, secure, connected, and cared for. There’s always extra joy in the room when our friend Pam joins us for Zumba at Dublin Glenn Memory Care. Her warmth, energy, and enthusiasm make every class something special—and remind us that you’re never too old to dance, sing, and keep moving.

Residents love participating in their own way, whether it’s gentle movement, tapping along to the music, or simply enjoying the moment. Pam’s visits bring so many benefits, from increased range of motion to laughter and meaningful connection. It’s movement with heart, and everyone leaves smiling.

On December 30, we had the absolute privilege of celebrating Ellen’s 100th birthday at Dublin Glenn Memory Care—and what a joyful celebration it was!

Our wonderful friends from Tutor Time joined the party, stopping by to share cake and ice cream, along with thoughtful gifts and handmade signs that made the day even more special. This intergenerational celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, and the kind of happiness that truly reflects the spirit of our community.

Happy 100th Birthday, Ellen! We love you and are so grateful to celebrate such a milestone with you.

Residents, staff, and family members put on their blue suede shoes and enjoyed an evening of music, dancing, and pure fun. Our “Elvis” lit up the room with a performance that had everyone smiling, singing along, and — for a moment — feeling like we’d been transported straight to Vegas.

At Dublin Glenn Memory Care, we are proud to participate in The Ohio State University’s Perfect Pair Program—an initiative that creates meaningful, one-on-one connections between students and our residents through shared interests and companionship.

Last weekend, our Perfect Pair participants joined us for a festive holiday activity: making Christmas bracelets together. Laughter, creativity, and conversation filled the room as residents and students enjoyed this special time side by side.

It was a heartwarming afternoon that truly reflects the spirit of connection and community we cherish here at Dublin Glenn. ❤️🎄
