It seems like there might be misinformation out there about fillers somehow being damaging to your tissues and making surgical rejuvenation dangerous….

It’s not the fillers themselves, it’s how/where/how much. If used to do the work of surgery, you end up overfilled and the volume stretches the skin and creates contour irregularities.

Remove a large volume of filler? It creates an irregularity and deflates the area where the filler was. Then you need volume rehab….

What troubles me more are the energy devices (face tite, renuvion, etc)…

If you need a diastasis repair, but don’t want a tummy tuck.

You can still have it repaired, but the approach defines who does it and whether or not you have incisions. A plastic surgeon can do a DR repair without the cosmetic enhancements, but will still use a TT style incision. A general surgeon can approach it internally, but this isn’t a common service offered by general surgeons (right now, maybe with time it will become more available).

Also, insurance won’t cover a DR repair…

My take on why breast fat grafting as a standalone procedure isn’t as popular as implants, or widely offered by all surgeons…

Having a consultation for a breast augmentation? You’ll have to make two major decisions about your implant: size and profile.

In general the profile dictates the “look” of the result. More natural results come from lower profiles, and more drastic and augmented looks come from higher profiles.

Of course there are many nuances to implant selection, but the best tool for decision making is an implant try on! And of course a conversation with a board certified plastic surgeon…

Call to schedule a consultation and find out if a breast augmentation is right for you!

It’s rare to get us in the same operating room at the same time, but today we joined forces for a Rhinoplasty (Dr. S) + Breast Augmentation (Dr. D). This is actually a pretty common combo! Recovery is roughly a week off of work or school, splint removal 1 week after surgery, 2 weeks of modified activity, and 1 month of avoiding strenuous workouts, nose blowing, and glasses wear. With our unique recovery protocols, pain medication use is minimized and post-op pain is very tolerable!

On Nov 8 we unexpectedly welcomed our first to the world! At only 4lb 6oz, what he lacked in size he made up for in fight. It’s been a whirlwind of a month to say the least. I am forever grateful for all the love and support of my , , , , and , and for a little help from my (who watched over my little man from the start). I always say the world needs more love, but today I stand in awe of the absolute outpouring of love I’ve received over the past 3 weeks. Now it’s my mission to and make the world a better place through love. Welcome to the world little man, you’re the ❤️❤️❤️ and you are LOVED!
Oh and a huge thank you to the nursing and medical staff. You all are wonderful human beings. Angels in scrubs really!
