✨ Reiki & Mental Health: Restoring Balance from the Inside Out

Reiki is a gentle, energy-based practice that encourages balance and healing throughout the mind and body. It’s rooted in the belief that life-force energy flows through all of us—and when that energy becomes blocked by stress, trauma, or emotional strain, we may feel disconnected or depleted.

As a therapist, I see Reiki as a complementary tool that supports the work many people do in therapy. It can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and create space for emotional release. Many clients describe feeling lighter, grounded, or deeply peaceful after a session—almost as if their system has been “reset.”

While Reiki isn’t a substitute for therapy or medical care, it can be a beautiful addition to one’s healing process—especially for those who struggle to quiet their mind or feel safe within their body. It’s an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and let your system restore its natural balance.
