Just a reminder, we are closing at 3:30 on Thursday, October 30, 2025 and Friday, October 31, 2025 so our staff and physicians can enjoy Trick or Treat night with their family and friends. As always, one of our physicians will be on call for emergencies. Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Winter Afternoon Walk-In Hours beginning November 3, 2025!

You spoke; we listened!

Based on the comments from our recent survey, we are happy to announce that we will be doing a 4 month “TRIAL” of Winter Afternoon Walk-In Hours beginning November 3, 2025! This is IN ADDITION to our current Morning Walk-In Hours, which remain unchanged. If it is successful, we will add afternoon walk-in hours permanently to our winter schedule!

Winter Afternoon Walk-Ins will be available:
November 3, 2025-February 27, 2026
Monday-Friday (NO SATURDAYS)
3PM - 4PM

**Winter Afternoon Walk-Ins WILL NOT be available:
November 26-28, 2025 (Thanksgiving)
December 22, 2025-January 2, 2026
(Christmas week through New Year’s week)

Just like our Morning Walk-Ins, Winter Afternoon Walk-Ins will be following these guidelines:

**ACUTE illnesses only (illnesses arising suddenly) No chronic illnesses/issues.

**Established patients only, 2 months of age and older.

**First come, first served. No call ahead or appointment is necessary!

**Arrivals after 4PM will be offered appointments that day, only if available. 

As always, we will continue our MORNING WALK-IN HOURS MONDAY-SATURDAY 8AM to 9AM YEAR-ROUND, as well as having numerous same-day appointments available for those who prefer to call and schedule an appointment.

**A message to our Emerald Families:
With the recent announcements from the White House event, our physicians would like you to know we have met and discussed the recent topics that may have you feeling confused or misled.
First, as pediatricians and parents, we strongly recommend the current vaccine schedule. Extensive research and monitoring show this schedule is the most effective and is safe. We believe significant changes in the schedule, such as multiple separations and varying time intervals can lead to gaps in coverage, errors, and most importantly contracting a dangerous illness.
Also, we know Autism is a complex condition with a variety of treatment approaches, including behavioral and educational therapies. We are hopeful for new treatments and open to trying new therapies. At this time, leucovorin is not an established or approved treatment and we prefer more conclusive data.
Finally, as pediatricians caring for your children, we always strive to be judicious in the use and recommendation of medications. We know of no link between the use of Tylenol and neurological disorders in children. When used as directed, it is safe and effective for fever reduction and minor pain relief in infants and children.
We encourage our families to ask your doctor if you have additional questions or concerns. As always, your child's health and safety are our main priority and we want you to feel trusted in our care.

Flu shots have arrived! Again this year we are offering Saturday flu shot clinics. Our two Saturday clinics are on the following dates:

September 27, 2025: 8AM-11:50AM and 1PM-2:50PM 

October 4, 2025: 8AM-11:50AM and
1 PM-to 2:50 PM 

Please call the office at 614-932-5050 (option 2) to schedule.

An appointment is required for each child; we will not accept add-ons or walk-ins. Your child must have had a wellness visit within the last two years to schedule.

If your child already has a wellness visit scheduled in September or October, please refrain from scheduling during the flu shot clinic. Your child will receive their flu shot during their wellness appointment. If you have other children and would like to get a flu shot at the same time, please call the office so we can add them to the schedule.

**Unfortunately, we have not yet received our stock from the Vaccines for Children program. Patients with Medicaid or CareSource, as their primary insurance, cannot yet schedule for a flu shot clinic. As soon as we receive our shipment, we will post an announcement here and on our website.
