Dear Emerald Families,

We have recently noticed that some calls from our on-call doctor are being blocked or sent directly to voicemail because of new spam filtering settings on iPhones. This can happen if the “Silence Unknown Callers“ feature is turned on or if your phone automatically flags unfamiliar numbers as spam. 

If you are expecting a call from the doctor on call, please make sure your phone is able to receive calls from numbers that may not be saved in your contacts.

What you can do:

Add our office phone number (614-932-5050) to your contacts so it is recognized by your phone. 

Answer calls from numbers you may not recognize if you are waiting for a call from our office or the doctor on call.

These steps will help ensure that our doctors can reach you promptly when returning after-hours calls or responding to urgent/emergent medical concerns.

We are happy to announce that we will be continuing our Afternoon Walk-In hours through May 29, 2026. Again, this is IN ADDITION to our current Morning Walk-In hours, which remain unchanged.

Afternoon Walk-Ins will be available:
Monday-Friday (No Saturdays)
3pm-4pm

Just like our Morning Walk-Ins, Afternoon Walk-Ins will be following these guidelines:

**ACUTE illness is only (illnesses arising suddenly). No chronic illnesses/issues.

**Established patients only, 2 months of age and older.

**First  come, first served. No call ahead or appointment is necessary!

**Arrivals after 4 PM will be offered appointments that day only if available.

As always, WE WILL CONTINUE OUR MORNING WALK-IN HOURS MONDAY-SATURDAY 8am-9am YEAR-ROUND, as well as having numerous same-day appointments available for those who prefer to call and schedule an appointment.

Due to the impending inclement weather expected for this weekend, we’d like to let you know that we may have an office closure or delayed opening on Monday, 1/26/26.

We will definitely close if there is a Level 3 Snow Emergency in Franklin County. We will likely also close if there is a Level 2 Snow Emergency in Franklin County.

In any case, you should expect to receive an email (if your email is registered with us) by 7 AM on Monday ONLY if the office is closed or has a delayed opening. You can also check back here for up-to-date information.

Winter Afternoon Walk-In Hours beginning November 3, 2025!

You spoke; we listened!

Based on the comments from our recent survey, we are happy to announce that we will be doing a 4 month “TRIAL” of Winter Afternoon Walk-In Hours beginning November 3, 2025! This is IN ADDITION to our current Morning Walk-In Hours, which remain unchanged. If it is successful, we will add afternoon walk-in hours permanently to our winter schedule!

Winter Afternoon Walk-Ins will be available:
November 3, 2025-February 27, 2026
Monday-Friday (NO SATURDAYS)
3PM - 4PM
