These babies had the exact same “due date” and were born 9 days apart. Did you know less than 5% of babies are born on their “due date”? Thats why we prefer the phrase “guess date” around here! Surfactant from the baby’s lungs initiates labor by signaling the mom’s uterus when the lungs are mature enough for breathing outside the womb! The body is so beautifully designed! ❤️

Marcelo started chiropractic care due to tweaking his back in the gym and despite improvement in pain, he wanted to make sure his body was less vulnerable to another injury. X-rays showed some underlying structural issues he wanted to address. A few weeks into care he noticed better recovery, more mobility, and unexpected benefits of care. Marcelo is now in wellness care, investing in continued support beyond pain relief!

Onnie came in for her first official adjustment at Flourish! Birth is hard work for babies, too! Adjustments help support the rapidly developing nervous system and can support better neck mobility, latch, sleep, and digestion (just to name a few)! 🙌🏼☺️

Jackie came to our office wanting to address a chronic pain issue that she was nervous would hamper her ability to move and prepare for her first upcoming birth. Having frequent flares causing debilitating pain had shaken her confidence in her body! We all know how important mindset is when prepping for labor and delivery! The ability to trust your body’s ability is important no matter what walk of life you’re in! After a few weeks of care Jackie noticed more stability, less pain, and more hope that her body is capable. 🫶🏼

Summer is officially over and we are pumped to be heading into all the coziness of fall! This is a great time to stay consistent with your care or to get a family member under care as we prep for a time of year where our body is often under more stress, tempted with more sweets, and getting less sunshine!
