Morning in Senior Care can be interesting. Let's be honest though, any morning both personally and professionally can be interesting in its own way. We make our plans for the day with great expectations expectation that the 'To Do List' that we've created will be completed in no time π.β£

AND just like HE is, God reminds us of the scripture in Proverbs 16:v1-9 that says, "We may make our plans, but God has the last word. You may think everything you do is right, but the LORD judges your motives. Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out."β£

My calendar houses parts of my life because having a schedule is necessary. There are meeting times, places I should be, and people I should meet. ALL of sudden the phone rings that stops me in my tracks in a good way π.β£

This morning I received a call from a sweet senior that I've served in the past that has chosen to use my services again (that brings me great joy). We catch up on how life has changed and what is needed. We schedule a time to meet and I realize that I am in jeopardy of being late to this month's NAWBO meeting.β£

I could rush, but this moment will never come again. I choose to be present. To listen to the heart and to serve in a way that honors GOD is my intent. I hope families receive what I'm giving. Walking with them at what could be the most overwhelming times in their lives is a gift to me. Each story different. Each moment precious.β£

THIS is why I love what I do with Assisted Living Locators of West Columbus. It's true when they say, "others do what I do." What's different is how I do what I do. It's the heart π work for me.β£

If you know someone that may benefit from the service I provide, please share them with me.β£
