If you find yourself with that low hum of stress and feeling like you can never fully relax, this is because stress has become the baseline of your nervous system. This can happen so easily now in our society because we are constantly being bombarded with information - texts, emails, the news….you know the drill.

Here’s the great news! The same nervous system that learned stress can learn balance and regulation. Our nervous systems are totally adaptable!

This is where sound meditation and heart coherence come in. The tones and vibrations help to slow down brain waves and calm the body, while heart-focused breathing brings your heart and brain back into rhythm. Both of these practices together deeply support the nervous system. Together, they create a state of coherence where your body shifts out of survival mode and into balance.

Don’t forget that repetition is key! Repeated experiences are what rewires the nervous system out of stress and overwhelm.

Hello! I’m Tracey, a former Dietitian and Diabetes Educator who is now a Certified Sound Therapy and HeartMath Practitioner. I help women find balance and regulation through sound meditation and heart coherence.

Research from the HeartMath Institute shows that your heart sends more signals to your brain than your brain sends to your heart. Those signals directly influence your nervous system, your hormones, your perception, emotional experience, and how reactive you feel in stressful moments.

💖 HEART COHERENCE is a measurable, ordered heart rhythm pattern that you can intentionally create through HEART-FOCUSED BREATHING - breathing a little more slowly and deeply than usual through the center of your chest. Over time, practicing this type of breathing doesn’t just calm you in the moment, it can raise your baseline for stress tolerance.

The nocebo effect is the opposite of the placebo effect.
While the placebo effect happens when positive expectations improve symptoms, the nocebo effect happens when negative expectations create or worsen symptoms, even if there is no harmful cause.

This is how powerful your mind is:

If you expect something to hurt you, stress you, or make you sick……your body can respond as if it’s true.

Here’s an example:

If someone is told a medication may cause headaches, they’re more likely to report headaches, even if they were given a sugar pill (this is scientifically proven). If you believe a situation will be overwhelming, your nervous system may activate stress chemistry BEFORE anything has actually happened.

Your brain is a prediction machine! It is constantly trying to predict what’s coming next to protect you. These predictions influence your physiology — heart rate, hormones, muscle tension, immune response, and more.

This doesn’t mean symptoms are “made up.” They are very real. It means your thoughts and expectations can shape your biological response.

➡️ For women who are already stressed or overwhelmed, this is powerful to understand. If the mind can amplify stress through fear and expectation, it can also help create safety, calm, and healing when we shift those patterns. I’m not saying this is easy, but it’s so important to realize.

⚡️YOUR THOUGHTS DIRECTLY AFFECT THE CHEMICALS - GOOD OR NOT SO GOOD - THAT YOUR BODY RELEASES.

This why expressing gratitude, heart coherence, and nervous system regulation tools matter so much — they gently interrupt the nocebo cycle and help to create a new internal story and this directly impacts your physiology, health and well-being. 🤍

We often think of sound baths as a way to “relax.”

Yes they do that, but they do so much more.

Sound and vibration are biological support for your mind and body.

🧠 They guide your brain waves into states of calm and clarity

🙌🏻 They activate the vagus nerve and help regulate your nervous system

🕸️ They move through fascia, which helps the body relax, restore fluid flow, and communicate signals of safety to the nervous system.

💗 They even positively influence heart rhythms and heart rate variability (HRV)

It’s restoration at a cellular, nervous system, and energetic level. Would love for you to experience this at my next sound bath!!

A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full mind and body meditation experience. With intention, Tracey plays instruments designed to support your nervous system, helping to gently guide you out of fight-or-flight and into the restorative state of rest, repair, and healing. No meditation experience is required!

This gentle, restorative experience offers many mental, emotional, and physical benefits. Sound baths can help calm the nervous system, ease stress and tension, quiet the mind, and support deeper rest and better sleep. It’s a simple yet powerful way to bring your body, mind, and spirit back into harmony. You just have to experience it once to understand the benefits of it!

✨ What Should I Bring and Wear?

You’ll be lying comfortably on the floor during the Sound Bath. To help you relax fully, please bring something to lie on, such as a yoga mat, blanket, or sleeping bag, along with a pillow or two and a blanket for warmth and comfort. You’re welcome to bring any items that help you settle into your comfort zone. An eye mask or eye pillow can help enhance your experience, though it’s completely optional. Please wear soft, comfortable clothing that allows you to rest easily and unwind.
